Hear Me Now

Hear Me Now, edited by Titilola Dawudu in partnership with Tamasha Theatre Company, is a collection of audition monologues for actors of colour. Having only been released in October, Hear Me Now has become the highest ordered title via the Oberon (The book's publishers) website for the whole of 2018.

This book is, without a doubt, one of the most important publications in British theatre, not only this year, but in history. Therefore, we are excited to be going into 2019 with Hear Me Now as our featured read.

As an actor of colour, I can tell you that audition speeches for non-Anglo-Saxon characters are pretty non-existent. Hear Me Now has over 80 monologues showing all of us as we are; human beings - not terrorists, victims, criminals etc.

Please do not think that this is for actors only. If you like anthologies, short stories or are too busy to get through a whole novel; this is the perfect book for you.

Cannot wait for the next 80.
