"I read some of Rupinder’s poems online, pieces that she’s shared on social media and was entirely drawn to them. I found them beautiful and breathtakingly different.
Issue-based poetry is quite the trend right now, and please don’t get me wrong, although it can be a strong and powerful medium, sometimes it's a bit in your face. This is where Rooh has an artistic vibe of its own. It’s intelligent and subtle. It allows the reader to take what they want from it.
To me, it's a huge insight into who Rupinder is as a person and artist.
The Punjabi stirred my heart. It dances beautifully in verse with English. Very proud to have this as Desi Reads' 1st Featured Book."
